At Cobre Panama we welcome the statements made by the President of the Republic, José Raúl Mulino, regarding the authorizations to export copper concentrate, import coal and start up the power generation plant. We reaffirm our willingness to dialogue and find together the best solution, always with the objective of contributing to the well-being of the country and all Panamanians.

The funds generated by the export of copper concentrate will allow us to continue with preservation activities, reaffirming our commitment to sustainability, environmental care and responsible resource management. We will also comply with all tax obligations, in strict compliance with current regulations.

We will continue to work hand in hand with the authorities and local communities to ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe and responsible manner, always maintaining an open and transparent dialogue with all stakeholders.
