The Cobre Conecta experience arrives at Universidad Latina de Penonomé

Penonomé, September 27, 2024 – Cobre Panamá, through its “Cobre Conecta” program, designed to exchange information on responsible mining and reaffirm the company’s commitment to transparency, was present at the Universidad Latina, Penonomé headquarters.
On this occasion, the students of the Occupational Health and Safety program participated in a presentation that addressed two key topics:
Daniel Dávila, Planning Coordinator, presented the details of Cobre Panamá’s Preservation and Safe Management Plan, which is pending approval by the competent authorities.
Carmen González, Medical Superintendent of Cobre Panamá, shared with the students information about the Primary Care and Occupational Health Management System implemented by the company.
These activities allow Cobre Panama, hand in hand with its own employees, to share the company’s best practices and directly address the concerns of the participants.
