Press Release – Agreement reached in the collective bargaining agreement between Minera Panamá and the UTRAMIPA Union

Panama City, Panama, September 9, 2023.

It is with great satisfaction that we announce today that the negotiating teams of Minera Panamá and the UTRAMIPA Union, under the mediation of MITRADEL, have reached an agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement. This is a significant achievement that reflects the commitment and dedication of both parties to achieve a balanced and sustainable agreement that will benefit our employees for the next four years.

This agreement was made possible through collaboration, open dialogue and a shared commitment to the collective well-being of our employees. We would like to express our sincere appreciation for the effort, support and dedication of everyone involved in this process. With this new agreement, we reaffirm once again that Minera Panamá continues to operate as the first world-class mine in the country.
